Imani Development is pleased to announce the awarding of a new project and start-up of the EU Africa RISE (Reform for Investment and Sustainable Economies) programme. Imani Development is part of the consortium led by Landell Mills that will deliver the Africa RISE programme.

Africa RISE is a EUR 12.7 million technical assistance facility funded by the European Union, which aims is to promote business development and improve the investment climate in Eastern Africa, Southern Africa and the Indian Ocean, in support of inclusive and sustainable growth, job creation and decent work.

This technical facility covers 25 countries in Eastern and Southern Africa namely, Angola, Botswana, Burundi, Comoros, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Djibouti, Eritrea, Eswatini, Ethiopia, Kenya, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Rwanda, Seychelles, Somalia, Sudan, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

The Africa RISE programme will assist private and public sector organisations at national and regional level to, support job creation, strengthen financial access for MSMEs, and upgrade value chains to achieve inclusive and sustainable growth.
