Imani Development was commissioned to provide capacity development for senior public officials on origin cumulation under the EU-SADC Economic Partnership Agreement’s rules of origin protocol. This assignment entailed developing and implementing training workshops for public officials responsible for the administration and application of the SADC EPA rules of origin. The objective was to build the capacity of senior public officials from SADC EPA member states (Botswana, eSwatini, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia and South Africa) in the interpretation, application and use of cumulation provisions under the EU-SADC EPA rules of origin protocol.
