The Burundi Investment Promotion Agency (API) was established to promote the development of investments into and exports from Burundi. The aim of this training was to build the capacity of the API in investor services and after-care exposing the participants to international best practice in these areas. The workshop focused on the importance of efficient, functional investor services in order to attract FDI as well timely, helpful follow up services. The participants were exposed to relevant case studies that highlighted specific obstacles, constraints and successes in investment promotion.
