Chad Capon is a Senior Development Consultant at Imani Development. Based in our Cape Town office, Chad manages numerous private sector development, strategy development, and economic development related projects. His experience spans a wide range of contexts and industries including agriculture, international trade, CSO/PSO, manufacturing, textiles and apparel, pharma, transport, IGOs, and aquaculture. His specialist areas include, market systems analysis, sustainable livelihoods analysis, commercial due diligence, value chain analysis, regional integration, trade facilitation enhancement, and political economy analysis. Currently, one of Chad’s principal responsibilities is that of lead assessor in the EU funded Enterprise Zambia Programme, a challenge fund that is focused on developing agribusinesses and creating opportunities for smallholder farmers in Zambia. He holds a Masters in International Relations and Political Economy (Summa cum Laude) from the University of Cape Town.
